Mr. Kapasi Timeline and Summary

Mr. Kapasi, a tour guide for the Das family, observes Mr. and Mrs. Das bickering while waiting at a rest stop to take them and their kids to the Sun Temple at Konarak.
He concludes that they act more like American tourists than like Indians.
On the way to the temple, Mr. Kapasi reveals that he's an interpreter at a doctor's office.
Mrs. Das thinks his interpreter's job is romantic and starts chatting him up.
Mr. Kapasi becomes enamored with Mrs. Das.
At the temple, he starts to fantasize about Mrs. Das.
After the temple, he suggests that he take them to the Udayagiri and Khandagiri caves in order to prolong his contact with Mrs. Das.
At the caves, while the rest of the family goes to see the caves, Mrs. Das stays behind and reveals to Mr. Kapasi that her son Bobby is the result of an affair and that no one knows.
Mr. Kapasi, now repelled by Mrs. Das, asks her why she told him this secret and if perhaps her terrible feelings are actually feelings of guilt.
Mrs. Das storms off after her family, but draws a bunch of monkeys after her.
The monkeys circle Bobby and start to hit him with sticks.
Mr. Kapasi shoos them off and observes Mrs. Das fussing over Bobby.
He notices that the slip of paper with his address on it, which he gave to Mrs. Das earlier, blows away in the wind.
