Khnum
Khnum
Khnum's the master craftsman of ancient Egypt. With his amazing skills at pottery that allowed him to create humankind from clay, the entire human race loves him. He's an unusual fellow—he's got a ram's head, after all—but he's a loving and loyal member of the Egyptian pantheon. As a builder and a water god, he can be found all over Egypt, hanging out with everyone from pyramid builders to sailors.

Quotations | "I thought clay must feel happy in the good potter's hand." – Janet Fitch, White Oleander "I was like, 'I want to sail down the Nile, I want to see the temples, the tombs and the pyramids. I want to be moved, I want to see something I've never seen before.' And it turned out to be the best choice that I've ever made." – Alicia Keys "In order to be an immaculate member of a flock of sheep, one must above all be a sheep oneself." – Albert Einstein "There are only three things women need in life: food, water, and compliments." – Chris Rock |

Welcome to the Jungle by Guns 'n' Roses Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper (The females I craft on my wheel always wanna dance.) Losing My Religion by R.E.M. Movies | The Mummy (I can tell you firsthand that this movie is accurate.) Black Sheep (I hope this never happens to me… either my ram half or human half.) The River Ghost (I love the pottery scene. Although, come on, who doesn't?) Creation (I don't agree with Darwin on creation… I created humans.) Death on the Nile Clay Pigeons (I prefer to make people, not pigeons, out of clay.) Fertile Ground (The Nile's pretty fertile ground for creation.) |
