- Next up: mountain climbing! The prince comes across a mountain, which he is impressed by because his volcanoes only reached his knees. He hikes up the mountain, hoping to get a better look at his new surroundings, but the desert he’s in is so enormous that he doesn’t learn very much. (Too bad, right?)
- Instead, he ends up trying to speak to an echo of his own voice. He concludes that the people on Earth have no imagination and repeat whatever they hear.
- He misses home, and his flower, who was always the first to speak.
