(7) Snow Line
Make no mistake about it, this poem is tough. Sentences stretch over five lines, forcing you scramble just to find the subject and the verb, which are often separated by several lines and in the exact opposite of the place you expect to find them. To really understand the meaning of the poem, you have to know some stuff about classical mythology, the laws of the Hebrew Bible, and Christian theology. Aren't you lucky that you have us to help you figure it all out?
