Captain Adam Brant Timeline and Summary

Brant shows up and starts acting like he's flirting with Lavinia—and starts talking about the "Blessed Isles"
Lavinia isn't buying it, and gets him to admit that he's the illegitimate son of David Mannon and Marie Brantôme.
Brant is really ticked. He tells Lavinia the story of his awful life and all about how Ezra let his mother die of sickness and starvation.
He has a conversation with Christine and tells her that the jig is up.
After some hardcore manipulation, he agrees to help her murder Ezra, even though he would have rather challenged him to a duel or some such nonsense.
The next time we see Brant, he's aboard the "Flying Trades."
He yells at a drunken chantyman who insults him, lets him know there've been some robberies on the docks, and then asks for a job.
Brant brushes him off. Christine shows up.
Christine tells him about everything that's happened, and that Lavinia knows Ezra was murdered.
He hatches a plan to run away with her by boarding a ship to China. They start talking about marriage and a honeymoon.
Christine leaves. Orin kills Brant.
