• Lavinia's an uptight, bossy person who can't stand her mother and misses her soldier dad.
• She has a little convo with Seth about Adam Brant and his possible attraction to her mother.
• Lavinia confronts Christine about an affair. Christine denies it, but Lavinia hates her even more.
• She gets all up in Brant's face after Seth says he's suspicious about just who Brant is.
• Lavinia gets Brant to admit who he is and what he wants.
• She confronts Christine again, making her promise to break off her affair with Brant.
• Lavinia becomes more bitter by the day.
• Convinced Christine is guilty, she comes up with a plan to get revenge on Christine and her lover.
• The plan works. Brant and Christine end up dead. (Well, Orin is seriously messed up as a result.)
• She comes back from a "vacation" with Orin looking and acting an awful lot like Christine, sensual and voluptuous.
• She tells Peter she wants to marry him.
• Worried that he'll snitch on them both, she watches Orin like a hawk around Hazel and never lets him out of her sight in general.
• Lavinia and Orin are constantly arguing. She agrees not to marry Peter if Orin will not give Hazel the envelope with all of the nasty stuff he's written in it.
• After Orin kills himself, and Lavinia has a short but nasty argument with Hazel, she lies to Peter about an affair she had with an islander and tells him she can't be with him.
• She decides to spend the rest of her days atoning for her guilt in the Mannon home, hanging out with ghosts that may or may not be there until she becomes a ghost herself.
