Nemesis does not mess around. This winged goddess of justice and revenge is in charge of keeping law and order, and she takes her job seriously—and we mean seriously. Her biggest pet peeve is hubris, which is basically when some silly mortal gets too big for his britches. That's when she steps in to dole out the punishment. Nemesis also flies in to crack her whip when a mortal has a lucky break they don't deserve. These lucky breaks are usually caused by the goddess of luck, Tyche, who Nemesis loves to whack with a club. Yeah, Nemesis can be kind of brutal sometimes, but if you're looking for a little justice, she's the goddess to have on your side.
