Conrad Jarrett Timeline & Summary

A month after getting out of the hospital, Conrad returns to high school.
After school, Conrad either has swim practice or therapy.
Conrad's therapist, Dr. Berger, tries to get him to express himself. As Madonna would say, don't go for second best, baby.
To figure out what he likes, Conrad has to ditch what he doesn't.
Conrad quits the swim team and stops hanging out with his friends.
Conrad's not totally isolated, though. He begins dating Jeannine, a girl at school.
Conrad punches Stillman at school and worries about the consequences of getting into a fight. But his father and therapist agree that expressing his feelings, even angry feelings, is a good thing for Conrad.
However, Conrad is upset that his mother still doesn't notice him.
Berger tries to convince Conrad that he needs to accept his mother for who she is.
Beth ends up leaving the family without telling Conrad goodbye. Harsh.
But with Beth gone, it's easier for Conrad to accept her. It's like she never left.
Conrad and his dad move to a smaller house.
Conrad loses his virginity to Jeannine and resumes his friendship with Lazenby.
Sounds like Conrad's off to a fresh start.
