Arley Wanderdale

He may not be Gandalf or Obi-wan Kenobi, but Arley still fits the bill as Billie Jo's mentor. At first he's just her music teacher and a manager interested in her talent, but after the accident, his relationship with her seems to change. He is insistent on getting her back to playing piano and takes an interest in it not from a business perspective, but because he knows music is what she needs to get her life back on track. Even when her hands are burned raw and others shy away from Billie Jo, Arley never gives up on her.
