Full name: Pippilotta Delicatessa Windowshade Mackrelmint Efraim's Daughter Longstocking. Try saying that five times fast. (No doubt, Pippi can.) It's quite a name, but Pippi earns every last syllable with her indomitable spirit, can-do attitude, and adventurous antics. In Chapter One, Pippi tells her mother the angel and the men on her father's ship, "Don't you worry about me, I'll always come out on top," and we spend the rest of the book rooting for her to do just that.
