VN (The Narrator) Timeline and Summary

VN first meets Pnin at his dad's ophthalmology office. Supposedly.
They meet again when Pnin is acting in a play (again, supposedly) and then again during the Russian Revolution. At least, that's what VN says. Pnin denies all of this.
Liza comes onto VN, but she is totally rejected. Burn.
The three meet up again in Paris, but Pnin denies ever meeting VN and calls him a stinking liar. This is still a flashback, by the way.
VN reveals himself to be the tricky narrator and ends up more or less co-opting the story from Pnin. Ouch.
And the story's not the only thing he's taking: VN turns out to be the guy replacing Pnin at Waindell College.
Needless to say, Pnin ain't so happy about this.
