Jules/Vincent

Jules and Vincent are the perfect foil. We have Vincent, who is quick to act and quick to anger. He does not enjoy getting bossed around and will make a point of it. Jules, on the other hand, acts more deliberately and thoughtfully. Jules is all about keeping his cool.

Jules' belief that divine intervention saved them contrasts with Vincent's continued cynicism. Seeing how Vincent reacts makes us all the more surprised that Jules sticks to his story and renounces a life of crime. Jules get saved and Vincent gets definitely not saved.
