Exactly how steamy is this story?

Lots of sex here, and lots of guilt and shame to go along with it. Ruth and Rabbit are the most sexually free characters and, when they have sex, it’s usually pretty steamy. (Except of course for the "Give me a blowjob so I can own you" scene.) We never actually see the sex between Janice and Rabbit but what we hear about it is pretty uncomfortable. One could say sex is a suspect in the murder of Rebecca June. If Rabbit hadn’t wanted sex from Janice that afternoon, would the baby be alive? What about if Rabbit had slept with Lucy instead of going home? Tricky, isn’t it?
