Apollo Creed

Apollo Creed isn't necessarily a bad guy, but he is Rocky's opponent in the ring. We don't necessarily want Rocky to break his ribs and knock him out, but we wouldn't be upset if he did.

Apollo and Rocky are more like professional frenemies, like John Cena and… whoever John Cena's rival is this week. Without Apollo, Rocky wouldn't have his shot at fame, but Apollo still stands in the way of Rocky's goals.
