James Bond

He's the man on the cover, and even though he appears to be pointing a gun straight at you, he's the protagonist of the story. It may be hard to relate to a debonair, womanizing, invincible super spy, but from Bond's perspective, he's a man trying to do his job, do it well, and still be physically functional—or alive, at the very least—when it's finally time for retirement. That's all of us.
