Exactly how steamy is this poem?

Don't worry, Shmoopsters. You won't have to fan yourselves with your copy of this poem because it's not exactly hot and steamy. Sure our speaker mentions the "sweet love" (13) of some unnamed mystery person (someone he just refers to as "thee"), but he doesn't come right out and say what kind of "love" he's talking about. Is it sexual? Platonic? Familial? Something else? You decide.
