Liesl von Trapp (Charmian Carr)’s Timeline and Summary

Liesl meets her new governess and insists she's way too grownup to need her.
She meets boyfriend wannabe Rolfe in a gazebo at the family's villa, and they talk about how she needs a man to help her navigate the big, bad world out there.
She sneaks back into the house through Maria's window.
When Maria agrees not to tell anyone, Liesl accepts her as a friend.
Rolfe starts acting very strange and distant after joining up with the Nazis following the annexation of Austria. Liesl's hurt and confused.
She turns to Maria for reassurance that things will eventually get better.
After a performance at the music festival, she flees Austria with her family.
