Gabriel

Gabriel, our resident do-gooder (well, for most of the book anyway), is the main man in this book. Gabriel is the character who narrates most of the story, and we get to know him through his actions (which take up the majority of the plot). Besides, Finnigan is always reacting to Gabriel, where as Gabriel is usually making decisions for himself, and that's a big mark of a protagonist. Finnigan sure puts a lot of plans in motion, but he usually does so to right a wrong that happens in Gabriel's life. All of these things point to Gabriel as our go-to guy.
