1:1: The Duchess hires Bosola as her provisor of the horse at her brothers' request

2.1: The Duchess, pregnant by Antonio, is forced into an early labor by Bosola's apricot trick.
2.2: The Duchess gives birth to a boy.
3.2: Ferdinand confronts the Duchess in her bedroom at night, vowing to punish her despite her insistence that she's done nothing wrong because she's actually married.
3.2: After Ferdinand leaves, the Duchess orders Antonio to go to Ancona with her jewels to wait for her.
3.2: The Duchess pretends to fire Antonio, after which Bosola finally wins her trust by sticking up for Antonio. She reveals to him that Antonio is her husband.
3.2: Bosola, knowing everything he needs, sends the Duchess to Loretto with Cariola and her kids.
