Howard Roark Timeline and Summary

Roark gets expelled from architecture school just before graduation.
He goes to work for Henry Cameron.
Roark opens his own office, but business isn't booming.
He goes to Connecticut to work in a quarry in order to make ends meet.
In Connecticut he meets and falls for Dominique Francon.
Roark then scores a sweet project with Austen Heller, and he goes back to work.
He and Dominique meet up again and continue their affair.
Ellsworth Toohey sets Roark up to fail by getting him a job building the Stoddard Temple.
Roark gets sued for breach of contract over his odd design and has to go to trial.
His frenemy, Peter Keating, and his secret girlfriend, Dominique, testify against him.
Roark loses the suit.
Dominique marries Keating and later Gail Wynand, leaving Roark alone.
Roark continues to find work all around the country.
Gail Wynand hires him to build his dream house and Roark becomes his friend.
Roark helps Keating design the Cortlandt Housing Project, secretly.
But the government and other assorted morons ruin Roark's design.
So Roark blows that building up.
Roark goes to trial again, but this time he's acquitted.
Meanwhile he and Dominique hook up for good and they later get married.
At the end Roark is working on a skyscraper for Gail Wynand and seems happy.
