Peter Keating Timeline and Summary

Keating graduates architecture school with top honors.
After some debate he accepts a job with Guy Francon.
Keating quickly schmoozes his way up the ladder at the firm.
However, he has to keep asking Roark for help with his designs on the sly.
Keating continues his on-again, off-again romance with Catherine Halsey.
He meets and Ellsworth Toohey and accepts the man as a sort of mentor.
Keating causes Lucius Heyer to have a stroke and then finds out that Heyer left him a ton of money in his will.
Keating wins the competition to design the Cosmo-Slotnick building (with Roark's help) and becomes a partner in the firm with Francon.
Keating also testifies against Roark at his first trial.
Keating proposes to Katie, but he then accepts a proposal from Dominique and runs off with her instead.
Their marriage is a disaster, and Keating grows increasingly bitter and unstable.
Wynand effectively buys Dominique away from Keating in exchange for a commission.
A downtrodden Keating accepts the arrangement.
Keating begins to visit Roark again and gets Roark to help him with the Cortlandt project.
