Prince Geric Timeline and Summary

One day in a pasture in Bayern, Geric meets a goose girl (it's Ani, you guys) when she takes his horse for a ride. He's shocked and a little impressed when she can ride the Bay way better than he ever could.
He tells her he's a guard since he doesn't want to ruin his time with her by pulling rank or anything.
Geric hangs out with Ani almost every day in the pasture; together they read books, swap stories, and definitely start crushing on one another.
When Ani asks him to save the princess's horse, Falada, he tries, but he's already too late. He feels pretty bad and sends her a cryptic note that he can't love her "as a man loves a woman."
At the palace, everyone is getting set for Geric's wedding to Ani (who is actually Selia pretending to be Ani).
Suddenly Ani, Talone, Enna, Conrad, Razo, and a couple others bust in and tell the king the truth: the girl pretending to be Ani is really a maid named Selia.
Geric suggests he and his father leave Ani and Selia to tussle amongst themselves, but instead of leaving them alone, they secretly spy on the two girls—and when they do, they discover Selia's been deceiving them this whole time.
That's not the only truth that comes out, though. Geric fesses up to Ani that he's no guard, and instead he's actually the prince. Ani is excited that the guy she's supposed to marry is actually really cool and already knows her.
