Carol Aird Timeline & Summary

Carol purchases a doll from Therese in the department store.
She asks Therese out for coffee after getting a Christmas card from her.
After hanging out with Therese a few times and inviting her over to decorate a Christmas tree, Carol invites Therese on a cross-country trip.
The women grow closer, but Carol's friend, Abby, tells Carol that her husband, Harge, sent a detective after them.
Carol finds a recorder in one of their hotel rooms.
She confronts the detective, who tells her he already sent evidence of Carol and Therese's affair back to New York.
Carol returns to New York and swears to never see Therese again so she can fight for custody of her daughter.
She loses the custody battle, and she moves into her own apartment and gets a job at a furniture store.
Carol asks Therese to move in with her. Therese initially declines but soon changes her mind.
