What is justice? This is one of the big questions throughout history, and it's a major question in The Revenger's Tragedy. Is justice even possible? If the justice system is corrupt, who should give judgment? Should a revenger wait for divine justice to do something, or take it into his/her own hands? Whether it's the Duke delaying the justice system or Vindice contemplating his own private judgment, the question haunts the play from start to finish.
