The Lady of the Green Kirtle

She's described as wearing a gown the color of poison; she morphs into a snake; she's responsible for the death of Rilian's mother and his kidnap and imprisonment; and she continues her career by sending the protagonists off to be eaten by the giants of Harfang. We'll say nothing of her attempts to enchant them all and overtake Narnia after the death of Caspian. This "Lady" is pretty much bad news all round—and it isn't until she's gone that things start to finally come together in a good way.
