Prince Rilian / Black Knight Timeline and Summary

Rilian features in his own story, as told in the parliament of owls.
He appears as the silent Black Knight on the giants' bridge in the company of the Lady of the Green Kirtle.
As the enchanted Black Knight, he invites Jill, Eustace, and Puddleglum to dine with him in his chamber and tells them the edited story of his enchantment and the queen's plans.
The Black Knight allows the visitors to stay with him during his "fit," but makes them promise not to release him from the silver chair.
As his mind is transformed, the Black Knight begins to reveal his true identity and he calls on his visitors to free him in Aslan's name.
The un-enchanted Black Knight destroys the silver chair and finally reveals his identity as Prince Rilian.
Rilian confronts and kills the queen in her serpent form.
He decides to save the horses, as Underland disintegrates, and they ride together to search for a way out.
After Puddleglum catches Golg, Rilian questions the gnome about the chaos.
Golg takes Rilian to the rift in the earth to stare into Bism and offers to take him there.
Rilian leads the way through the new diggings to the surface.
He emerges from the hillside and all Narnians present bow to him. He tells the dwarves of his adventures.
Rilian leaves early the next morning to meet his father's boat at Cair Paravel; Caspian blesses Rilian and immediately dies.
Rilian buries his father and mourns him—and then becomes a good king in his own right.
