Doyle Lonnegan

Doyle Lonnegan is almost the perfect villain, right down to his mean face and menacing accent. He's a perfect villain because, even though we're rooting against him, there's part of us that might respect the guy.

Sure—we don't like the fact that he's a murderous thug. But we admire how good he is at his job and how careful he is as a businessman. After all, the movie wouldn't be all that interesting if the antagonist were just some dumb guy who was easy to trick.
