Dean Keaton (Gabriel Byrne)’s Timeline and Summary

Keaton is humiliated by the cops when they interrupt a business meeting he's having at a restaurant to drag him into a police lineup.
After the lineup, the other criminals invite him to join in a heist to help them get back at the cops. But he's unwilling.
Outside, he complains to his lawyer girlfriend, Edie, about how the cops intentionally humiliated him.
Verbal goes to Keaton's place and convinces him to join up—Keaton grabs Verbal by the neck at one point, but ultimately agrees.
After the robbery, Keaton goes to get one look at Edie, before heading off to L.A.
In L.A., Keaton goes along with the second robbery, and then is pressured by Kobayashi to join in the boat assault.
Kobayashi shows Keaton that he and Edie are working together on a legal project, and that Keyser Söze will have her killed if Keaton and the others try to bail.
Unfortunately, the boat attack doesn't work out so well for Keaton—it ends with Keyser Söze shooting him dead.
