Cecilia Lisbon Timeline and Summary

Cecilia at thirteen is the "weird sister," interested in occult stuff and constantly wearing a shabby vintage wedding dress. She keeps a diary chronicling the everyday event of her and her sisters.
She goes to school but doesn't really talk much to anyone and has no good friends.
On a June day, she slits her wrists and climbs naked into the bathtub. A neighborhood boy who was sneaking around the house found her and called the police.
The paramedics arrive and find her bleeding and pale but still alive, holding a laminated photo of the Virgin Mary.
The doctor at the hospital sews up her wrists and gives her a blood transfusion.
After a week in the hospital, she's sent home, with a psychiatrist's recommendation that she be allowed to socialize and wear makeup appropriate to a girl her age.
She spends her time sitting outside, one of her sisters with her at all times.
Two weeks after she gets home, Mr. Lisbon persuades his wife to let the girls have a party.
Cecilia keeps to herself at the party, sitting alone with a blank look, wearing the old wedding dress and crayon for lipstick.
She's wearing bracelets taped on to hide the scars on her wrists.
Just as the party gets going, she asks to be excused.
She pulls off her bracelets, has a glass of juice, and walks upstairs, looking at nobody.
She opens the window in her bedroom and jumps.
She lands on a spike of an iron fence in the Lisbon yard and dies.
