Bernard Timeline and Summary

Bernard starts out the novel in nursery school. He's already pretty verbose and language-oriented, telling stories to his friends to keep them calm/entertained.
He goes off to boarding school with Neville and Louis, where he meets Percival.
He has a girlfriend that he considers writing a letter to; it does not appear that she is the same woman who becomes his wife.
After boarding school, Bernard goes up to Edinburgh, presumably for university.
After Edinburgh, it appears that Bernard ends up in the same place as Neville, at least briefly, as they hang out on the riverbank and go back to Bernard's room to look at Neville's poetry.
At the dinner seeing Percival off for India, Bernard announces he's getting married.
Right around the same time Percival dies, Bernard's son is born.
At some point, it appears that Bernard has moved to Waterloo, but it's not clear when.
Bernard grows old and contemplates the meaning of life. At the very end of the book, he ropes in some poor stranger and makes him listen to his life story.
