And after Fitzgerald introduces Amory to us, he never looks back. In painstaking detail, Fitzgerald follows every little emotion, thought, and milestone Amory experiences on the road from adolescence to adulthood. By the end of it all, you might not love Amory Blaine. But hey—you might just love to hate him.
