The Tuft of Flowers

Truth, Work, and the New England Way

The poetry of Robert Frost is so famous by now that it's pretty easy to pick out of a line-up. Does the poem have a rural setting, probably somewhere in New England, like "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening"? Does it deal with some aspect of the work involved in running a farm, like "Out, Out"? Does it present itself in a regular form, with relatively plain language delivering some complex insight into what it means to be human, a la "The Road Not Taken"? Well then, Shmoopers, congratulations—you've probably found yourself a Robert Frost poem.
