Denise Timeline and Summary

Denise calls out her mother for buying a ton of healthy food at the grocery store and letting it spoil before eating it.
Denise knows that her mother's taking some sort of medication, and blames this unknown medication for her mother's failing memory.
Jack comes to Denise with a pill bottle that he found taped under the bathroom radiator cover. They both know that it's full of the drugs Babette is taking. Jack puts it back where it was, but Denise later steals it.
Denise scolds her mom for chewing gum that's supposed to cause cancer in rats. Babette says she needs to chew gum to stop smoking, but Denise won't compromise. She says her mother shouldn't chew gum or smoke.
Jack comes to Denise and asks for the pill bottle. Denise won't give it to him, though, because she knows he wants the pills for himself.
Denise catches Jack rummaging in her closet one night. She knows he wants the pills, and tells him she threw them away.
