Wyatt can be a tough read, especially in poems like "Whoso List to Hunt." While his word choice is pretty straightforward (except for the occasional strange word like "list" and a few bits of Latin), Wyatt's sentences and idioms are sometimes like irritating speed bumps. Lines 9-10 in particular are a little tricky for the uninitiated. The same goes for strange phrases like "wild for to hold"; what's with that "for" anyway? While a little tricky at first, with a little help Wyatt can be conquered. Luckily, he's no John Donne.
