Yeah, this one is wildly varied. Each character has his or her own demons to face, whether it's a hostile government or community, a porn-using partner, racist colleagues—or even that character's own personal shortcomings. Walker doesn't always show the protagonists triumphing over these suckers, but they almost always take drastic action to deal with the thorns in their sides.
