mar 08 Learn More IRS Releases Doubled Number of Millionaires
On this day in 1985, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reported that 407,700 Americans were millionaires. That was more than double the total from just five years before. The IRS did not release any information about the number of American buhzillionaires that year; the fact that they all live in secret underground lairs surrounded by jujitsu-trained henchmen and reanimated dinosaurs makes them notoriously difficult to reach.
