Entrepreneur Andrew Carnegie was born on this day in 1835. The titan of the steel industry was also a total dinosaur nerd. In fact, the millionaire financed numerous dino-digs, one of which turned up a massive diplodocus skeleton in 1899. It was cleverly nicknamed Dippy.
