On this day in 1975, "Born to Run" gave Bruce Springsteen his first hit. And the E Street Band, too. Is there really an E Street? You bet. It's in Belmar, New Jersey (of course). The band's original keyboard player's mom lived on E Street and benevolently let Bruce and the gang practice there. You know "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out"? That Tenth Avenue is in Belmar, too.
