Singer-songwriter Paul Simon was born on this day in 1941. The memorable music video for his 1987 hit "You Can Call Me Al" features Chevy Chase animatedly lip-synching and acting out the song. It was actually the second video created for the track. Simon wasn't happy with the original promo clip, which featured his Saturday Night Live monologue performance of the song. SNL producer Lorne Michaels pitched the Chase concept, and the video became an instant classic.
