About Me
Intro
Some folks might call me a wannabe because I'm surrounded by a few big-name schools, but in certain circles, I am King of the Hill. Proud of my dichotomous reputation, I like showing off my small town spirit as the intellectual jock who can throw one heck of a par-tay.
These days, I'm known for a few famous alums, top ranked programs, and I've got the esteemed status of being a multi-grant school. I may be small, but I'm mighty—there's no Napoleon Complex here, people.
My campus is a mix of traditional and trendy. Do you dream of brick and mortar buildings to inspire your studiousness, but want to get down three nights a week? Do you want to have your cake and eat it, too? Good, because frankly I'd be alarmed if not—cake is delicious. I'm the school who can bring you the best of both worlds. I'm a smarty-pants who brings the swagalicious party to you.

Hometown
Newark, Delaware. Despite being the first state, people sometimes get confused and refer to me quizzically as, "Delawhere?" Even though you probably don't know where to find me on a map, I am good-natured about the constant razzing. Word to the wise, though: Don't confuse me with my similar-sounding counterparts. My hometown is NewARK, not Newirk…saying the latter will land you in New Jersey.

Body Type
I am a medium-sized school with lots of homies to keep the party going. I also offer my 20,000 or so co-eds one luscious campus—it spans 2,000 acres across the cozy college town of Newark.
Current Living Situation
You name it, I've got it. My campus offers everything from ancient colonial architecture to skid-row chic. I've got midcentury modern, a local version of trendy skyscrapers, sororities, fraternities, and truly far-out buildings. You'll be sure to find something that tickles your fancy in this eclectic mix of on-campus digs.
Relationship Status
There are two words in the whole world that really rankle me: Villanova Football. 'Nova is just up the road, but it'll never be far away enough for my taste. Then there's Xavier Basketball that gets my feathers in a fluff. I'm always butting heads with those two about something. Alas, the one true thing that brings me back around is the solid knowledge that my skaters will always be there.
Religion
I love my global and accepting view on religion. "Cherish" is my word of choice.
Politics
Like my stance on religion, I sanction global thinking and I've got a little bit of everything on my campus.
