Psychiatrist

Odds of Hanging On

While people only go to see a physician when something bad happens, many will continue to see a psychiatrist weekly, bi-weekly or monthly no matter what’s going on in their lives. They just want a place to check in—someone to listen to them speak about…whatever thoughts are swimming about in their skulls.

And often a patient will stick with their therapist for years on end…meaning that you don't have to worry too much about being around for the long haul.
