The be all and end all Why Should I Care

Why Should I Care?

So you might not have murdered someone to get the throne of a kingdom. At least we're hoping you haven't.

But we're betting you've wanted something badly before.

We're not talking when you wanted pizza instead of spaghetti. We're talking when you desperately wanted those shoes that matched perfectly with that dress for prom but they were way too expensive. Or when all you could think about was getting into the right university and suddenly you were totally obsessed. You would have done anything to get in.

The thing is, all of us have had something in our lives that seems like the be all and end all. Something that we can't let go of no matter how hard we try. Something that we can't stop thinking about. For us, it might be footwear or college, but for Macbeth, it was the crown. And that's all he can think about.

But take it from Macbeth. Having one thing be the be all and end all is dangerous because it takes your focus off everything else. It had better be worth it, because if it's not, it will end all.
