Your Field Guide to Spotting Aegir

Your Field Guide to Spotting Aegir

Humans don't usually go looking for Aegir, because he's been known to swamp their boats and store their bodies in his hall if he's in a bad mood. That's not enough to keep the gods away, though, because Aegir throws awesome parties. In fact, you'll probably hear the raucous crowd and smell the mead long before you get near the Island of Hlér, home of Aegir and his wife and nine daughters. Some people say Aegir's a giant. If that's the case, you'll probably find him easily amongst the smaller Aesir he's hosting. If not, just look for the guy at the center of the partying crowd. He'll be making sure everybody's mead cup is full and that a good time is had by all.
