Character Analysis
Millicent is a second year Slytherin student. She is "large and square and her heavy jaw jutted aggressively" (11.72). We don't get much of a sense of what Millicent is like as a person in Chamber of Secrets, but we do know that she doesn't mind physical violence. At the end of Hermione and Millicent's Dueling Club fight, "Millicent had Hermione in a headlock and Hermione was whimpering in pain; both their wands lay forgotten on the floor" (11.81). Millicent sounds like a tough cookie.
