Character Analysis
Wood is the captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team; he is also the team's Keeper. He is incredibly serious about Quidditch, arranging endless practices and battle plans to prepare his team for the season ahead. Before the match with Slytherin, he tells Harry, "Get to that Snitch before Malfoy or die trying, Harry, because we've got to win today, we've got to" (10.46). With pressure like that, how can Harry help going back out onto the Quidditch field, even when there is a rogue Bludger trying to injure him?
