Hebrews Theme of Power

Jesus might have had humble beginnings, but he went on to become a pretty big deal. Other New Testament books play up Jesus' lowly origins more, but the author of Hebrews is pretty big on the power and the glory part. According to this book, from the beginning of time, Jesus was there, hanging with God and the angels, plotting to be the Savior of the universe. Sure, he became human and was crucified as a criminal, but that was all part of his plan to save the world.

All in all, not bad for a kid from Galilee.
