Exactly how steamy is this story?

Fifty Shades of Grey this is not. Although the novel does feature a dash of coarse language, some serious subject matter, and a few references to sexuality, there's nothing in here that's going to cause you to blush or make you embarrassed to read it on the subway. That being said, there's an allusion to sexual assault about midway through the book, which is one of the reasons we're racking it up to PG-13.
