Case description: Nekhbet and Wadjet both appeared together at a temple opening as cobras. The pharaoh's court accused Nekhbet of impersonating Wadjet, since Wadjet is a cobra goddess, and Nekhbet is a vulture goddess most of the time.
Case status: Dismissed. As an Eye of Ra goddess, Nekhbet can take a cobra form, just like any other Eye goddess, including Wadjet, Isis, Sekhmet, Bast, and others. Besides, who's going to argue with a giant divine cobra?
