Lots of times, the Bible talks about the moral obligations masters have toward their slaves. The Pastor switches it up. He doesn't say anything about masters acting kindly but instructs slaves to be good little imprisoned boys and girls. Easier said than done.

If you believe in Jesus, says the Pastor, you'll want to be moral. God loves good deeds and you'll totally be rewarded when the time comes.

Here, the Pastor seems to contradict himself a little. Yes, you need to be moral and upright, but that doesn't get you anywhere with God. God gave the world Jesus because he's just so darn loving, not because of anything anyone did. That's just how he rolls.
