Where Are You?
The mom is barely around during these trying times for the boy. Ursula is taken on as a boarder/babysitter right after his mom gets a new job down at the optometrist's, which will keep her out of the house a lot. She also has various volunteer activities that she's pretty involved in—which make us wish she'd be a little more involved in what's going on at home. Who knows, though, if Ursula would've been able to get her hooks into his father the same way if the mom had been around more.
